The Off—Space Project
The Off—Space Project, part of Choom Outside, is an ongoing effort to bring art into everyday spaces.
Our aim is to bring art closer to its audience not through formal exhibitions, but by placing artworks within spaces where daily life naturally unfolds.
This project is not merely about installing artworks on walls; rather, it is about creating moments for dialogue, pause, and encounter.
The ninth stop of the Off—Space Project arrives at Aa Café in Rasht.
This chapter presents a project by Mehrab Ramezani, exploring the subtle presence of absence and the traces that remain when something is no longer there.
Absence is never simply emptiness. It can inhabit an entire landscape, shaping the way we perceive space and what remains within it. Through this quiet tension between presence and disappearance, the familiar becomes a place for reflection, where memory and perception intertwine.
At Aa Café, the works enter the rhythm of everyday life, inviting viewers to reconsider the spaces they inhabit and the traces that surround them. Amid conversation and movement, absence becomes something tangible — a presence that lingers without fully revealing itself.
Here, what is missing does not disappear entirely. It remains, quietly shaping the landscape
